Charles Hedley is a trading name of the Derbyshire Hosiery Company.
These terms and conditions apply to all transactions conducted online.
These terms and conditions are here to make clear your rights and reassure you that your shopping experience will be a fantastic one with Charles Hedley, your privacy and payments will be completely secure and that we abide with all relevant legislation. These terms and conditions don't affect your statutory rights. By placing an order with Charles Hedley you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
Making an Exchange
If you are not satisfied with the product recieved, just send it back to us and we can make an exchange according to your instructions.
For a fast exchange please include your packing slip and note stating all the information necessary to exchange your item. In certain cases stock limitations may mean we are unable to meet an exchange as requested, if this applies we are happy to offer a refund. Unfortunately we can not exchange worn or used items.
Returns & Refunds
If you are not 100% satisfied with your product we provide a hassle-free refund/exchange service.
Item must be in original condition with tags. Returns & Refunds are issued within 14 days of payment made. Buyer is responsible for postage costs for item to be sent back. We recommend that you use recorded delivery, or a delivery service that can be tracked and traced; any item sent back to use can be refunded (online policy only).
When your item is in stock, we aim to process your order within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please allow 3-5 working days delivery time for your goods to arrive. If you order and the item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible with an estimated delivery time or to discuss an alternative stock item.
Cancellation of an order
If you wish to cancel an order, please e-mail or call us immediately.
If notification of cancellation is received before an order has been sent we will immediately send a refund.
If an order has been sent out you will need to return it to us unused, with all labels attached and in its original packaging and not damaged or worn within 14 days of receiving the item. If the item has been worn or damaged we will not be able to give a refund. We are unable to refund your postage costs.
All products are covered by your statutory rights. Please note we can only be responsible for product failure due to defective workmanship or materials. We are not responsible for product failure if the product was not used for its intended purpose or was damaged by accident, misuse or neglect. We are not responsible for failure of an item due to fair wear and tear or ageing. If you have a legitimate claim for a product failing please contact us by Email or telephone us with the details of the product, fault and age.
At Charles Hedley we realise your privacy is 100% most importance.
We never release your personal details to third parties for mailing or marketing purposes.
When you purchase from Charles Hedley we keep a copy of the order and only the information contained within (including your name, email address, delivery address, etc.) we only use this to purely record the transaction should we need to refer to it at a later date. This information is completely confidential and we do not use this information as a marketing tool to repeatedly re contact you or spam you.
